Transborder and international flights require additional travel information for each guest prior to checking in. You will be asked to click the International Travel Information Required link to enter the required information. - If you are a Canadian citizen, your passport information and the address of your first night in the U.S. are required. Travel to international countries does not require address information.
OR - If you are a US citizen, your passport information is required. WestJet is required to request emergency contact information.

Not at a computer? Check in from your mobile device i.e. Blackberry, with WestJet's newest self-serve product, Mobile check in! Select your seat and indicate the number of pieces of baggage to check in, using your mobile device, from 24 hours up to 30 minutes before you fly and simply print your boarding pass using a Self-serve check in kiosk, at select airports, or at the WestJet Baggage drop counter. Now when you check in for your WestJet flight using Web Check in, you will have the option to receive your boarding pass electronically. Electronic boarding passes are accepted at all 26 Canadian airports from which WestJet operates. This means you will be able to proceed through security and board your WestJet flight using the electronic boarding pass displayed on your personal mobile device. Simply use the Web check in process as usual, and you will be presented boarding pass options. You will first be asked to enter your flight details and confirmation number on step 1 to advance to the boarding pass options. You may choose to print your boarding pass immediately or at the airport; or select the electronic boarding pass option and have an e-mail sent to your mobile device. Then simply show the boarding pass displayed on your mobile at security and board your flight.

Alternatively, our airports in Abbotsford, Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, Halifax, Kelowna, Montréal, Ottawa, Saskatoon, Fort McMurray, Quebec City, Regina, Thunder Bay, Toronto, St. John's, Vancouver, Victoria and Winnipeg are all equipped with our Self-serve check-in kiosks. These Self-serve check-in kiosks allow you to skip the lineup and check yourself in. Self-serve check-in guests can drop off baggage quickly by taking their baggage to the WestJet counter marked 'Baggage Drop'. If you are travelling with companions, you may check them in as well using Web check in or the Self-serve check-in kiosks.

At our airports in Orlando, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Palm Springs the convenience of curbside check in is available as an alternative to the counter check in.

We include your boarding and check in details on the confirmation page, but you can also subscribe to Flight reminders for status updates on departure or arrival times.
